Good day, Ladies!
Classy and Beautiful Women of the Past and Present
Who are some classy women of the past and present that you’ve always thought of when you heard the word “sophisticated?” There are so many throughout history that we can’t even count them! However, some that come to mind for me are:
Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Julie Andrews, Jaclyn Smith, Lena Horne, Halle Barry, Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, Katherine Hepburn, Doris Day, Ingrid Bergman, Ava Gabor, Ava Gardner, Lucille Ball, Lauren Bacall, Elizabeth Taylor, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, Kate Winslet, Bette Davis, Shirley Temple Black, Princess Diana and hundreds of royal ladies, and the list goes on and on! Write your favs below!
Number one on my list is Audrey Heburn (how’d you guess?) because she fits the bill of elegance, class and integrity that go hand in hand in being a true lady of sophistication. The look, the expression, the emotion, the walk, the smile, the style, the grace, the modesty, the taste, the intelligence, the dignity, the poise, the culture, the charm, the wit, the finesse and the jaw-dropping presence!
In fact, these terms can describe each one!
Setting the Stage
They set the stage for all of us by living picturesque, down to earth lives, the way women are intended to be. (In and out of the media!)
The word “grace” translates as, “The free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.” Wow! These ladies really had “it!”
But that’s not all I want to say!
You and I already have “it,” too!
After all, we are ladies of 2020 and fashion, poise and so much more is also in our nature.
Sophistication dwells in each one of us through our kindness, caring nature. Or, it can develop with the way we act and the passion we pour out.
Breath and Enjoy
Hold your head up high and live like the intense women that we are! Smile, show interest in others, look up to your elders and put your best foot forward. It’s all just matter of integrity!
Look, Want and Feel the Part
We only live once, so let’s make the most of each moment in each day– and feel blessed that we are women! Classy? Absolutely!
