Dieting Is Overrated

easy diet plans for womenI never liked the word “diet.” It immediately brings up the idea of needing to loose weight. Instead, I like to think of it as enhancing my health, or better yet, moving forward toward a better ME! If someone says, “I’m on a diet,” there is a trudging sense about it, a defining factor that is leading to struggle.

Instead, think of it as a fun process you would like to begin in order to look your best and SHINE! Eating healthier and exercising will always lead to a better YOU. It is fine to indulge on special occasions and holidays, but beginning a regimental platform of longevity always will lead to success.

Mentally Preparing Yourself

First of all, you have to want to look your very best. Most of us immediately think of how we looked in high school or even before. Picture a time in your life where you were at your perfect weight. How did you feel? How did you look? More importantly, how was your attitude?

We all want to look great. But, in order to do that, we must not look back to the past. You need to create a NEW YOU! ..A fresh new look that suits you at this time of your life. There is an exciting road ahead for you. Look ahead to that time and envision it. Dwell on it and picture all you want your life to be, not just with your looks, but in every aspect of your life!

My Own New Method That Works!

Lately, I’ve been trying a new method of loosing excess fat. Before each meal, I do sequences. These are exercises I do for 3 minutes before each meal. A few are Hip Ups (Lying on your back and squeezing your butt up), Crunches (lying on your back with your arms behind your head and gently lifting up) and any kind of Stretches are also good. Three minutes is all you need to do them for.

In doing this, whatever you ingest will burn into energy afterwards and will begin the process of fat burn. It’s really not rocket science, just a clever, doable and fun way to regulate your system. When continuing this practice, your body will get immune to it, and VOILA, weight loss!

Fruit Smoothies

I make fruit smoothies each morning with protein powder, almond milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, flax and chia seeds and powdered antibiotics I have in the house. (Calcium, Stem Cell, Beet Juice powder, Organic Greens, etc.) Anything that is good for me usually goes into my smoothie. I make a few for the next couple days.

Tip: You should always drink spring water with lemon. (5% of your weight in 8oz. glasses. So, if you weigh 150 lbs., 150 x 5% = 7.5 or 8 glasses rounded off). It flushes the toxins out of the body and the lemon juice (or a few drops of lemon essential oil) digests food in your system. Or, you can even add a tsp. of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar to your water.

For Lunch

Any kind of fruit with yogurt and greens with a little Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and spices are great to eat in the middle of the day. You can even add some nuts for a nice crunch!

 For Dinner

You should have protein for dinner like chicken, fish or meat. Add salad, veggies and fruit for a complete healthy meal. Dinner should be eaten no later than 6pm and 7 at the very latest.

Foods to Avoid

There are so many foods that simply don’t digest well and tend to consume fat on the body. These are fried foods, potatoes, sweets and anything with sugar (Stevia is a great substitute), wheat, flour, breads, starches (rice, pasta), Oils (except Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil), and any kind of peppers. These are the things that are difficult for your body to digest, and when consumed, add fat in unwanted places.
